Unit 3:
Day: 1 Students will define inverse sine, inverse cosine, and inverse tangent. Inverse is when you are trying to find the angle of a corner of a triangle. For inverse sine, you use the lengths from the opposite side and the hypotenuse of a right triangle. For cosine, you use the adjacent side and the hypotenuse of a right triangle. For inverse tangent, you use the opposite and adjacent sides of a right triangle.

Quiz:
1. Find the angle of a right triangle if the opposite side is 8 and the hypotenuse is 12.
2. Find the angle of a right triangle if the adjacent side is 8 and the hypotenuse is 12.
3. Find the angle of a right triangle if the opposite side is 8 and the adjacent side is 12.

Answer Key:
1.
The angle of the triangle is 41.8 degrees.

2.
The angle of the triangle is 48.1 degrees.

3.
The angle of the triangle is 33.6 degrees.
